Paul Mulvaney

Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer

Paul Mulvaney graduated from Manchester University in 1985 with a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science & Mathematics.  He completed the one-year Management Science program at Imperial College, London in 1986, earning an MSc with Distinction. The focus of his Master’s thesis was computerized arbitrage models for interest and exchange rate trading.

After university, Paul held posts in derivatives and foreign exchange trading at Midland Montagu, Bankers Trust Company and NatWest Markets before joining Merrill Lynch in September 1993. At Merrill Lynch he managed several of the firm’s major options portfolios, including Global Foreign Exchange Options and Exotic Commodity Options.  Mr. Mulvaney left Merrill Lynch in 1999 in order to found Mulvaney Capital.

Keith Hazley

Non-Executive Chairman

Keith joined the Board in June 2024.
He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Waystone Management Company (IE) Limited and was previously Head of Investment Oversight for Waystone in Europe. Before this, he was Founder and Head of Risk and Portfolio Management at Lambay Capital Limited, a MiFID company acquired by Waystone in 2016. He has served as an Independent Director on several boards of hedge funds and other MiFID entities and operated as Director and Head of Investment for various hedge fund companies.

Keith has a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Trinity College, Dublin, a Master of Business Administration degree from City of London University and a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors, London.

Ursula Newman

Non-Executive Director

Ursula joined the Board in June 2024. She has held C-suite and/or board positions at several hedge funds, including Taula Capital, Eisler Capital, Finisterre Capital and Altima Partners, as well as senior executive positions at both HSBC and Deutsche Bank. She has particular experience in optimising corporate, regulatory and ethical governance, and delivering improved operational efficiency and integrity. These responsibilities have included regulated and unregulated funds with a variety of investment strategies.

Ursula holds a law degree from the University of Bristol and qualified as a solicitor at Macfarlanes.
