John Bishop

John Bishop is an actuary with broad experience in the insurance sector.  He has served on the boards of a number of companies, both in an executive capacity and as a non-executive director.  In addition to Mulvaney Capital, he is currently a non-executive director of Berkshire Hathaway International, Motability Finance, HCC International Insurance Company and smaller or not-for-profit organisations. 

He has previously served on the managing board of the Euler Group and was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Star Insurance Company Ltd where he was responsible for the worldwide general insurance operations.  He also has been Managing Director of Sun Alliance UK Insurance Company.
